William James Cooper

d. March 16, 2022

Cooper, William James (Billy) V, 54, of Louisville
Passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022.
Billy was born in Louisville to the late Camii Grace DiAngelis and William James Cooper IV. He was a graduate of Louisville Male High School and attended The University of Louisville. Billy scored the second highest in the state on his SAT, was an amazing computer whiz, an excellent sales person, and an innovative and successful entrepreneur.
In his younger days, Billy enjoyed playing tennis. He liked "muscle cars" and adored his Dachshunds, especially Louie. Friends and family will remember Billy as charming and engaging. Always the life of the party who loved telling jokes and playing pranks on people. But he also had a very philosophical side, engaging in serious and meaningful conversations about life, religion, the physics of space travel, and alien life. Billy loved his family and friends dearly and will be missed by all.
In addition to his parents, Billy is preceded in death by his grandparents, Massie and William James Cooper III, and Francesca Italia and Joseph A. DiAngelis. He is survived by his brothers, Ashley Cooper and Jason Cooper (Jennifer), his nephews, William and Roby, his stepmother, Jill Cooper, his step siblings, Brendan Behlke and Dara Quinlan, his best friend, Steve Bourgeois, several uncles and aunts, and many cousins and friends.
The family is planning a memorial service at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be made to The Healing Place.
