William (Billy) Connors

William (Billy) Connors passed away August 15th 2024. He was the son of William and Betty Slinkard Connors. Born on July 11, 1953 in Bedford, Indiana. He was a barber and retired from the City of Bedford. Billy attended Fayetteville Baptist Church. He loved to fish at Kenray Lake, spending his happiest times there. He also loved studying history, especially about the Civil War. He even wrote a book on the subject. It was about the Battle of Shiloh. Surviving is wife Linda Sproles Connors, sons Michael (Kelley) and Jason (Amber) Hodges. Grandchildren Mikayla Hodges Cross and husband Gabe, Connor Hodges, Katy Hodges, Jalen Hodges, Korbin (Brooklyn) Smith and Chloe Leatherman. Great granddaughter Willow Smith. Sister Barbara (Kevin) Wayman, brothers-in-law David Buck, Ronnie Probasco and Steve Sproles, sister-in-law Jo Ellen (Richard) Roach and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Becky Probasco and Deanna Buck. 

He was friend to a lot of people and will be missed. As per his wishes there will be no funeral.
