Thomas Bujeker Jr.

Thomas Bujeker Jr. 75, passed away on Tuesday September 28, 2021. Tom was born in South Bend February 6, 1946 to the late Thomas & Gertrude (Kopinski) Bujeker. Also, preceded in passing was his brother and best friend Robert Bujeker. Thomas is survived by sons Christopher Chmiel and Evan Bujeker, daughter Tina Chmiel, and nephew Damien Bujeker. Also surviving is Mandy Bujeker who Tom married in 1978 for 14 years; they always remained friends.
Tom attended St. Stanislaus grade school and graduated from St. Joseph High School. He received an associate degree from Indiana University in Marketing. Tom was an entrepreneur and successful owner of Tom's VCR Service in the 1990's as well as an accomplished Sales Representative for Centennial Wireless. He also worked for the Bendix Corporation before the company moved out of South Bend. He was a proud veteran who served 2 years in the United States Army during the Vietnam era.
Thomas enjoyed many years golfing, traveling, Notre Dame games, and camping with his son Evan. In retirement he enjoyed gardening, shopping and cooking (his famous spicy chili). He will be missed and loved. Tom had a great sense of humor and never knew a stranger-always willing to help.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, October 10th from 12 to 1 pm (visitation will be from 11 to 12) all at the South Bend First Seventh-Day Adventist Church,1936 E. Altgeld St., South Bend, IN 46614.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made to South Bend Junior Academy for student workshops.
