Shawn Michael Rounds

Shawn Michael Rounds, 49, of Shrewsbury, MA passed away unexpectedly in his new home in Louisville, KY on the morning of Saturday, November 19, 2022 of natural causes. Early in life he started his lifelong love affair with the guitar. This first true love often brought him closer to the musical side of his extended family. Shawn's family included many. Some as far away as Germany as well as closer to home in Milford, MA where he graduated from High School in 1992. SFC Rounds retired from the Army earlier this year after many years of meritorious service. He cherished his Military family who helped him to become the man he was. To know him was to love him. He is survived by his younger sisters Michelle and Susan, one nephew, Tyler, his father, and multiple Cousins, Aunts, and Uncles. A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home in Milford, MA. There will be a live webcast of the Service for those unable to attend. Remembrances and Refreshments with family/friends are available at the Medway VFW afterwards from 12:30-4 PM. In lieu of sending flowers please consider donating in Shawn's name to a children's music charity or Veteran's assistance program.
