Rose E Tipton

Rosetta Tipton, 88 passed away Friday, October 20th, 2023,peacefully after a battle with cancer surrounded by family in Mitchell, Indiana. Born September 30th, 1935, she was the daughter of Martha and Albert Terrell. She married Douglas Tipton July 17, 1971, and he survives.
Rosetta worked at RCA in Bloomington. She was a member of the American Legion Post 33, A lifetime member of the Bedford Boat and Sportsman's Club and a member of the Moose Lodge 689, she enjoyed playing bingo and watching NASCAR races and She was a Jeff Gordan fan.
Rosetta is survived by her husband Doug, her sons Scott Lovell (Stacy) Kenneth (Kristal) Her Daughter Marie Watson (Jay Silvers) stepdaughter Norma Brewer (Jeff). Grandchildren Donnie Lovell, Kiaya Turner, Kurt Lovell, Emily Carrico (Courtney) Annie Tipton (Keygan), Scotty Tipton, Dustin Slate, Kegan Watson (Kennedy), Jayden Silvers. Great grandchildren Ethanie, Addalynn and Emmalin Turner, Arianna and Joslynn Lovell, Jaxson Key. Brother-in-Law Kenny Gibson, brother-in-law Vernon Tipton, Robert Tipton (Rita) Darrell Tipton (Louise) James Tipton (Sheila) Les Tipton (Susie) Sister-in-law Lillie Mae Johnson, Mary Sparks (Randall) Brother-in-law Ricky Brandenburg. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Beulah Gibson, a son Raymond Silvers, daughter in law Kim Silvers, granddaughter Jennifer Silvers, grandson James Silvers. Sister in laws, Edith Webb, Ann Lane, Lee Lane, Mildred Brandenburg, Alma Tipton, Nephews Lester Tipton ‘JR,' Bobby Tipton, great nephews Brady Morrow, Logan Tipton, and the mother of her granddaughters Beth Carrico Purcell
At Rosetta's request she was cremated. A celebration of life will be planned later.
