Ronald Rollins

November 25, 1970 — February 13, 2022

On February 13, 2022, Ronald "Joe" Rollins passed away in Solsberry, IN after a well-fought battle with cancer. He was 51 years old.
Joe is survived by his parents Ron and Connie Rollins of Solsberry, IN; his wife Debby Rollins; his children, Jerrad Tosti (Autumn), Ricky Rollins, Chad Rollins (Jennifer), and Jasmine Rollins; granddaughter Joellah Rollins; sister Ronda Richardson (Kevin); and his several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Joe and Dorothy Newton and paternal grandparents Ray and Ona Rollins.
Joe was born on November 25, 1970 in Bloomington, IN. He graduated from Eastern Greene High School in 1989 and attended Glen Oaks Community College on a basketball scholarship. Joe married the love of his life Debby in 1994. Together, they took great joy in raising their four children. Joe passed down passions, instilled morals, and loved his children more than life itself. Joellah, who he lovingly referred to as "Pappy's Pride and Joy", was just that. He was also very excited to learn that he has two grandsons due this spring.
Joe worked in pharmaceuticals for many years, but his true passions were family time, sports, and horses. He donated his time and expertise to the Monroe County 4-H: Vaqueros Horse and Pony Club. Some of his favorite moments were camping and boating with his family. Joe had a heart for children and never hesitated to lend a helping hand or give of his resources to a child in need.
Visitation for Joe is scheduled for Monday, February 21 from 4:00-6:00 p.m., immediately followed by a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Apostolic Church, 8401 W Evans Rd., Bloomington, IN 47403.
The family welcomes donations as an expression of sympathy instead of flowers. All contributions will be used to honor Joe's passion for helping children. Cash and check donations can be made at the visitation and memorial service or may be directed to joedebroll@bluemarble.net through PayPal.
