Phillip Tussey

Phillip Ray Tussey, 74, of Freedom, Indiana, passed away on April 13, 2023 at IU Hospice House in Bloomington, Indiana. He was surrounded by his loved ones at his time of death. Phillip is survived by his wife, Donna, of 57 years, two children; Phillip R. Tussey Jr. of Freedom and daughter Carrie A. Hockman (Michael) of Freedom, two grandchildren; Tyler Hockman of Spencer, IN and Madison Hockman of Gosport, IN, and three great grandchildren. Phillip was preceded in death by his parents; Leo R. Tussey and Frona Tussey Reffett, four brothers; Jerry, Larry, Leo and Tom, and one sister, Carol Reffett.Surviving siblings are sisters; Betty Griffith and Phyllis Reffett, and one brother, Bruce Tussey. Phillip was a United States Army veteran, serving in Germany and Vietnam. He was a master machinist for Link- Belt corporation. He loved fishing and hunting. He was Tri-State Director for Midwest Sportsman for a number of years. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.Phillip will be truly missed and in our hearts forever.
