Paula Kim Fraser
April 6, 1965 – March 14, 2024
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Paula Kim Fraser, age 58, who passed peacefully on March 14, 2024. Born April 6, 1965, in West Palm Beach, Florida, Kim spent most of her life basking in the Florida Sun. She spent 2 years in Indiana, where she embraced hiking, bird watching & lots of unforgettable adventures with Vanion, Gage & Amanda and her church family. But, as a true Florida girl, Kim longed for sunny, warm days, which she spent wintering in Florida with friends and family.
Kim spent her final year traveling with her puppy Buddy, in pursuit of her dream of living the “Van Life”. Together, they embraced adventure and true freedom, visiting friends across the East Coast.
Kim was a passionate and devoted fan of the Miami Dolphins. She loved getting together with friends and family. Whether it was Bingo, game night with Legendary Lady Palooza, or creating her own special Christmas games. Kim’s love for games brought people together and creating lasting memories. She also had a love for playing pool. Kim was part of a league where her team won county championship and had an opportunity to travel to Vegas.
Kim is survived by her four children: Douglas Allen Grubb, Jr. (his children Dustin and Levi), Samantha Panella (her children Mary, Michael, McCallan, and Maxwell), Christine Campbell, and Gage Verronneau (his wife Amanda and son Vanion). Kim is also lovingly remembered by her siblings: Tim Benton, Laura McGrit (her children Stephanie Elliot, Leslie McGrit, Anita Currin, and Daniel McGrit, along with grandchildren Drew Young, Damian Currin, and great-grandchild Luna), Pam Zucca (her husband John, and their children Anthony Zucca & wife Samantha Polayes and Matthew Zucca, and his granddaughter Amelia), and Kevin Davis (his wife Jennifer Plageman-Davis, and their daughter Eliza Davis).
Kim was preceded in death by her cherished son, Michael Grubb; her mother, Mary Esther Fraser; her grandparents Anna (Granny) & Paul (Pappy) Benton; her uncle Bill Benton; her aunt Joanne Hall; her cousins Lisa Hall, Kenny Hall, and David Pearce; and her first love, Douglas Allen Grubb, Sr.
A celebration of Kim’s life will be held on what would have been her 60th birthday, April 6, 2025. The ceremony will begin at 11:00 AM at Ocean Cay, 2188 Marcinski Road, Jupiter Beach, at the Anita Lankler Pavilion.
Following the ceremony, we invite friends and family to enjoy a potluck luncheon and several rounds of Bingo, just as Kim would have loved.
