Mark Kevin Thornberry

Mark Kevin Thornberry, known to many as “Coach Mark,” passed away peacefully on October 9, 2024. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, on June 21, 1957, Mark lived a life filled with love, adventure, and dedication to his family and community. Mark was the beloved father of two sons, Jon and Bradley Thornberry, and one daughter Brittainy Miller. He was a devoted partner to Linda and a cherished grandfather to four grandchildren. He is also survived by his loving father, Charlie, and his two sisters, Kim and Kelly. A true outdoorsman at heart, Mark found joy in kayaking, fishing, and spending time in nature. He loved being surrounded by his family, and his deep connection to them was clear in everything he did. His warmth and generosity touched many lives, and his legacy as a great father, friend, and mentor will forever be remembered. Mark will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and those whose lives he touched.
