Maria D. Cooper

Maria D. Cooper age 60 died at home on August 29th, 2021 after a 2 year battle with cancer. Born 28 September 1960. She proudly served her country in the U.S. Army for 6 years. Survivors include her husband of 38 years Scott Cooper of Unionville Indiana, Step Dad Dale Dickson of Freedom, Sister Robin of Rio Ranch, NM, Sister Jacki in Louisiana, Brother Anthony of Indianapolis, Tim of Georgia, Matthew of Bloomington, Denzil of Bloomington. Maria was preceded in death by her Mother Sarah (Sally ) Dickson of Freedom. Maria had chosen cremation over a typical funeral. There are to be no local services. She is to be interned in the Oak grove Cemetery In St. Louis, MI. In the Veterans part of the Cemetery on the 16th of September with Military Honors. Memorial contributions are welcome to either Southern Indiana Hospice or the Cancer Society.
