Lori A. Camplin, 51, of Martinsville, Indiana died September 15, 2021 at her home.
Lori was born June 20, 1970 in Bartholomew County, the daughter of Jerry and Cheryl (Hedrick) Newland. She married Ryan Camplin on September 19, 2015.
She loved traveling, country music, and going for hikes. If her favorite band was within a 6-hour drive, you can bet she was there. She loved her two dogs, Aggie & Jiggie, and her two cats, Frick & JJ, dearly. However, the most important thing in her life was her friends and family who she cared for deeply.
Lori is survived by her husband, Ryan Camplin of Martinsville; her children, Harley Wiltsey (Michael Williams) of Glendale Heights, IL, Lane Wiltsey of Columbus, Christopher Brown of Georgia, Matthew Brown of Columbus, and James Shephard of Columbus; her siblings, Mark A. (Jessica) Newland of Kendallville, Traci L. Roe (Doug Burbrink) of Columbus, Jerry Paul (Jennifer) Newland of Columbus, and Jerika D. Newland (Gabriel Thomas) of Columbus; and the rest of her family and friends. Lori is preceded in death by her parents, Cheryl Newland and Jerry Dean Newland; as well as her sister Jessica Newland.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Brown County State Park.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family requests that those able to do so make a donation in Lori's name to the Bowen Family Foundation.
