Lawrence Wayne Gorman, he is known to his friends and family as Larry, at the age of 73, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. His departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him, along with an abundance of cherished memories that will be treasured for years to come. Larry's life was a testament to the power of love, laughter, and kindness, and his impact on those around him will be felt for generations.

Larry was born on April 26, 1951, in the small town of Cullman, Alabama. He grew up in a family that instilled in him the values of kindness, hard work, and compassion, shaping him into the remarkable man he became. These values guided him throughout his life, influencing his relationships and interactions with everyone he met. From a young age, Larry displayed a remarkable ability to connect with people, always making time for a friendly chat or a helping hand whenever someone was in need.

Larry was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Rachel Tiny (Huffstutler) Gorman, as well as his brothers: Everett and Charles "Chuck". His sisters, Purnie, Barbara "Bobbie," and Nola, who all played significant roles in his life, provided him with love and support that he cherished deeply. Together, they shared countless family gatherings filled with laughter and joy, creating bonds that would last a lifetime.

He is survived by his two cherished daughters, Kelly (Brice Lowe) and Pia (Brian Gordon), who brought him immense joy and pride. Additionally, he leaves behind six adoring grandchildren: Avant, Leilani, Oriana, Talon, Bradley, and Russell. These young ones will continue to carry on his legacy of love, laughter, and resilience, reminding everyone of the warmth and joy he brought into their lives. Larry is also survived by a brother, Dwight (Linda) Gorman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who adored him.

Larry's warm spirit and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. His enthusiasm for life was contagious, and he had an extraordinary ability to light up any room he entered. His laughter and kindness were a source of comfort to many.
