Larry Hicks

Larry Edward Hicks, 68, passed away on December 21, 2024, in Bloomington, IN. Born on July 31, 1956, in Miami, FL, he was the son of Carl  Chester Hicks and Gladys Ilene (Hall) Hicks.  Larry served in US Army for 4 years and is a US Veteran.

Larry is preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters, which one brother, Garry Allan Hicks was his identical twin who passed only 1 year and 17 days before.

Larry leaves behind his wife of 29 years and faithful companion and best friend, Lana Hicks.  He was a very loving and caring husband where you seen Larry you always see Lana by his side. The love for each other was forever. 

Larry was a truck driver and over the road truck driver and a mechanic for over 40 years. He got into wanting to drive a truck from his dad had a trucking company in Florida when he was growing up. He drove trucks until his health wouldn't let him anymore and he retired. Spending all of his free time with his wife and family, he didn't have any kids. Also his favorite little dog, Laney, she was a little Yorkie that was his baby girl and she passed away after his twin brother, it broke Larry's heart. But Larry is at peace now in Heaven with his family and his baby girl dog and not in pain anymore. 

I will se you again one day my love, back on party row as you always said with all the other truck drivers.
