JOHN GLENN MOORE 66
Born and raised in Frankfort, KY. unexpectedly passed on Feb, 18. 2023 at the VA Medical Hospital in Lexington, KY.
Mr. Moore was born on March, 5. 1956 to the late John E. Moore and the late Ethel Moore (Updike). Mr. Moore was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and also worked for many years as a truck driver doing what he loved, traveling the world.
John was a huge family man whom had 2 daughters Sasha Lyons (Ben) and Chasity Moore (Mitchell) both of Frankfort. 9 grandchildren, Jordan and Lexie Moore, Tanner Wainscott, Braylen Petrey, Alizjah Bowman, Grayson, Benson, Adyson and Jaxson Lyons all of Frankfort and 5 great grandchildren, Aaron and KeAaron Jones, Jori'Anna, Jor'Riyah and Jaa'Liyah Moore all of Frankfort. 1 sister Jana Moore of Frankfort. 4 brothers Mike Moore (Nancy), Jamie Moore (Robin), Jeff Moore (Ginger) and Todd Moore (Janie) and several nieces and nephews.
Johns hobbies were watching and rooting for the UK Wildcats, watching Nascar and cheering on Kyle Busch and shooting pool with his long time friends.
There will be a Celebration Of Life at Capital City Christian Church 15 Locust Dr. Frankfort, KY 40601 on March 4th 2023 from 2 to 6. If anyone would like to donate towards a Memorial Plaque in Johns honor, there will be a box set up at the service. We would love for everyone that knew and loved our dad as much as we did to come celebrate his life with us. We hope to see you all there
