James McCutchan (Jim), born July 2, 1943, in Janesville, Wisconsin, reunited with his wife and love of his life of 57 years, on July 27 2024, in Bloomington, Indiana.

Throughout his life, Jim created countless cherished memories with his loved ones. He shared a special bond with his wife Jean. Together, with the family, they embarked on numerous adventures traveling and camping, forging a treasure trove of unforgettable experiences. Jim and Jean's strong partnership extended beyond their family trips; they also united their skills by remodeling every home they lived in and multiple RVs they owned over the years. He was a hard worker, entrepreneur, small business owner and great provider to his family. Jim also loved working on his train layout and was very innovative, if he didn't have a part, he'd make one; this was true with everything he did in life.

Jim is now reunited with his beloved wife Jean, son Tom McCutchan (Cherry), sister Marie (McCutchan) Rinehart and his parents Harvey and Esther (Loftus) McCutchan. He leaves behind a legacy of love and hard work that will be forever cherished by those who survive him. Among them are his daughters Teresa (McCutchan) Sprowl (Scott), Jeanette (McCutchan) Ames (Jerry) and bonus daughter Leslie "Lee" Rinehart; sister Ruth (McCutchan) Barr (Dick); grandchildren Melissa (McCutchan) Brockman (Jeremiah), Brian Sprowl and Christy Sprowl; great-grandchildren Ethan Brockman, Evan Brockman and Amourah Brown.

James McCutchan's spirit will continue to live on through the memories shared by all those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace knowing that he was deeply loved and will be dearly missed. The family will have a private gathering at a later date.
