Iona Louise Combs

We lost Iona Louise Combs Saturday evening at IU Ball Memorial Hospital. She was 89 years old.
Iona has been a Muncie, Indiana resident since moving from central Kentucky in the early 1950s. Iona was a caring Mother who was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Barnhouse, and husband Fred Combs. She is survived by son, Ervin Scott Myers, nieces Teresa Vaught, Darlene Nart, Gayle Story, nephews Tyrone Cecil, Greg Vaught, Mike Hardwick and David Peck. In life, Iona loved music and had a beautiful singing voice…we can still hear her singing "Silver Bells".
