Gerald W. Fortner

Gerald W. Fortner Jr. (Jerry), 50, was born October 3, 1971, in Louisville Kentucky to Gerald W. Fortner Sr. (deceased), and Anita (Roy) Glock, and went to his heavenly reward on June 21st 2022.
Jerry was an over-the-road truck driver who loved God's sky paintings. The sunrises and sunsets he saw from his truck left him awestruck. He loved seeing the various birds and wildlife he encountered on his travels.
We are truly grateful to have shared this life with such an amazing, fun-loving, intelligent and unique soul. Thank you, Jerry, for touching the lives of everyone you encountered. We will love you always and forever.
He is survived by his mother, Anita Glock (Greg) of Tampa, sister, Stephanie Imburgia (John) of Land O' Lakes, his children, John C. Fortner and Destiny J. Duncan (Matthew), of Tennessee. He is survived by 2 grandchildren, Audrie and Evelyn Fortner, niece Jadyn Imburgia as well as a number of extended family in Kentucky and Florida.
