Ethel Lee Williams

Ethel Lee Brooks Williams, 86, of Tazewell and Knoxville, TN, passed away on April 16, 2025, surrounded by loved ones in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Ethel was born and raised in Tazewell and Harrogate, TN. She lived in Knoxville for over 60 years where she was a loyal Lady Vol Basketball fan, and member of First Baptist Church, Concord. She was married to Gerald Williams, also from Harrogate, TN, for 64 years. They moved to Bowling Green, KY in 2020 to be closer to their daughters.

Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and several brothers and sisters-in-law. She is survived by their daughters Lisa Lee Williams, daughter Angela Williams Spiller (Shane Spiller), grandchildren Eric Spiller (Hope Spiller) and Ashley Spiller, brothers Herb Brooks (Colleen) and Kyle Brooks, and many nieces and nephews.
