Don Charles Kandlbinder

June 23, 1951 — April 10, 2023

April 10, 2023, Don Charles Kandlbinder went to join his loving wife Suzan with our Lord. The banquet in Heaven has begun and the celebration of saints is underway. Don was born in Salem, MO on June 23, 1951 to Charles Donald Kandlbinder and Beverly Jane (Nelson) Kandlbinder. Don is predeceased by his mother and wife. He is survived by his father Don Kandlbinder and wife Norma of Little Rock, one brother, Gary and wife Stacey of Mountain Pine, AR, Step-son Steve Bohon and wife Dr. Joy Bohon and their three children of Bloomington, IN. One nephew, James Kandlbinder and wife Kia and three children of Hot Springs Village, AR one niece Erin King and husband Garrett and daughter of Centerton, AR. He had lots of cousins he loved and other family who were loved. His extended family including his friend Janet and other fellow residents of Hauck House in Bedford, IN. are included in the list as well.Don's career was amazing utilizing CAD/CAM, drafting and design while a Senior Project Engineer at Los Alamos, NM Sandinista Labs. He was very proud of working where super top secret projects were being developed. We hear the word "Q" thrown around today, Don held a "Q" clearance. Don was a veteran and member of the United States Air Force stationed at Wright Patterson AFB in Ohio. He and Suzan owned a screen printing and t-shirt business in Salem, MO prior to moving to Indiana. He loved cruising on motorcycles in the mountains, enjoyed fast cars and was an avid snow skier. Today is not a day of mourning but rather a celebration of Don's life. He found purpose in taking friends to doctors' appointments and sharing in their lives. He was fun to be around and enjoyed teasing and loving others. No words can express how he will be missed, but rest assured our memories will never fade. A family graveside service was held in Bedford, IN at noon on April 26, 2023 at Green Hill Cemetery in Bedford, Indiana. Donations in Don's name are appreciated and may be directed to local food pantries.
