Dawn Leigh Betancourt

Dawn Leigh (Clevenger) Betancourt passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at the age of 56.  She was born on October 18, 1967 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to Robert Maurice Clevenger and Ya Cha Yun. She was proceeded in death by her dad Robert Clevenger.  She leaves behind the love of her life, her husband Richard. They were married on July 4th, 2019. They had been together a total of 10 years and she was the happiest that she had ever been.  Her stepdaughter Sarah (Ed) Soldan. Her doggies Lily Rose and Bella who were her babies. She loved and spoiled them endlessly. Her sisters Terri (Brian) Beard and Roxanne Garcia. Her nieces Brianna Marie Beard, Riley Grace Snyder, and Diana (Ty) Keil, Nephews Jordan Lee Beard and Chad (Sydney) Kennedy. Her bestie Karen (Bill) Joy.

Just a few things about Dawn. She loved Golden Retrievers and would look them up on facebook all the time. She was funny, smart, beautiful and had the best heart of anyone. She loved different languages and could pick them up easily.  She loved to sing and her favorite music were country & Religious. In high school she was color guard at Northside.  She was a blackbelt in Taekwondo. She was nice to everyone she met. She was a loving wife, sister, aunt and friend. She would do anything for anyone. She knew where her soul would go after a long battle with cancer she was ready.

Dawn will forever be missed and remembered.
