Connie Sue Colgate

Connie Sue Stacy Colgate Of Columbus Indiana passed away peacefully at home on Sunday November 10, 2024. She was born July 29, 1949, daughter of the late John Richard Stacy and the late Juanita (Ashcraft) Neurohr. 

Connie was a very loving and caring wife, amazing mother, and wonderful Mimi to several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family was very important to her and she loved every moment that she got to spend with them. Connie also loved animals including her three cats and she enjoyed feeding the squirrels that would come right up to her door wanting peanuts. There wasn’t a person or animal that she wouldn’t have helped and loved. 

She is survived by her husband, Thomas J. Colgate Columbus Indiana; three daughters, Angie M. Congleton of Columbus, IN, Lisa C.(Steve) Seckman of Scipio, IN, and Clarissa L.(Matt) Bunch of Connersville, IN; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; three sisters, Monica Neurohr, Angie (Mark) Ascherman, and Chris (David) Hall; and several nieces and nephews. 

Connie is preceded in death by both her mother and father Juanita Neurohr and John Richard Stacy; a granddaughter, Brittany Mattingley; two sisters Judy Sandford and Linda Rinehart; two brothers Jack Stacy and Larry Stacy; and her step father, Frank Neurohr. A Celebration of life will be planned by her family. Donations can be made to your local animal shelter and/or humane society.
