Bradley Curtis Paff was born on August 5, 1957, in Wichita, Kansas, to Frances (Gavin) and Elmo Ray Paff. Raised in St. Louis, Missouri, and Williams Bay, Wisconsin; Brad graduated from Williams Bay High School in 1975. He began studying at Defiance College in Ohio, then shifted his focus to become a Tool & Die Maker with an associate degree. With the soul of an artist, Brad created his life with an open and gentle heart, a wild sense of humor, and a passion for justice. In his later years, Brad was self-employed working with landscaping and yard maintenance, often tending the lawns and gardens of his neighbors who needed help pro bono. He loved music, painting, drawing, sculpting, playing a variety of sports, golfing, the great outdoors, and the laughter of children.Brad was preceded in death by his parents, Frances and Elmo; by his brother, Lester; and by his son, Rueben.Brad is survived by two sons, Nathan and Simon; by two granddaughters, Cassandra and Victoria (Marty Parker), by four siblings and their partners: Toby (Nancy Woo), Rachel (Kent Weakly), Lois (Erland Bergen), and Tony (Aurora Portero Paff); by six nieces and nephews, Jennifer Ogle, Jessica Heidbreder, Anne Jenness, Andrew Weakly, Christopher Portero Paff, and Sara Tangeman; by numerous cousins, and by a lifetime of neighbors and friends.Brad died July 25, 2023, at the age of sixty-five years, eleven months, and twenty days.
