Andrea G. Burton

On 10/24/23, Andrea G. Burton, born 1/4/66, was released from this world at the Our Hospice of South Central Indiana facility after a 42 day battle with Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer.
Andrea is proceeded in death by her father, Edgar Earl Burton and her niece, Tabitha Dawn Ramsey. Surviving is mother, Joan Delean Burton, daughter, Maria Dawn Burton Linville, older brother, Danny Lewis Burton, sisters, Judell Short and Lucinda Burton, and baby brother Kevin Burton. Andrea leaves behind many heartbroken nieces, cousins, friends and soul family.
From working in Sam's Club bakery to being a Home Health Aide, Andrea or "Andi" as some knew her, was a dedicated hard worker. In her time off Andrea enjoyed rock music, University of Kentucky basketball, the Indy500, Scooby-Doo and Winnie-the-Pooh too.
Freed from the pain and worries of this world, we believe Andrea is enjoying her own concert with Tom Petty while fishing with her father on her generational land in Kentucky.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later time.
