Jack Elijah Cooper, 28, of Louisville, KY died on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.
A celebration of life will be held in the early Spring. Date and time will be communicated. The family is asking everyone who attends the celebration to wear red.
Jack was born March 29, 1994 in Kingston, NY son of Caroline Wonofsky and Theodore Cooper.
Jack loved fishing, working on old cars, artwork, rapping and writing poetry. He made a lasting impact on his family, friends and especially his daughter. We will continue his legacy and often share stories of his life with family and friends. He was always laughing, joking and loving life.
Jack was preceded in death by his grandfather Michael Gibson; great grandparents Glenn and Jewel Gibson; great grandmother Carolyn Fera; and great grandfather Raymond Frawley.
Survivors include his parents; Caroline "Carrie" and Evan Wonofsky, Louisville, KY; One daughter, Aliyah Cooper, Louisville, KY; Three brothers, Brandon Castle (Cheryl), Panama City, FL, Teddy Gibson (Lora), Johnson City, TN, Eddie Cooper, Johnson City, TN; Two sisters, Amanda Wonofsky (Justin), Johnson City, TN, Meagan Federico (Matt), Panama City, FL; Three Grandmother's; Carolyn Frawley, Johnson City, TN, Bertha "Bobbie" Gibson, Phenix City, AL; Charlotte Cooper, Saratoga Springs, NY; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Jack was an amazing soul who touched so many lives. He was so carefree and full of life.
Jack will be remembered by so many as an amazing dad, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
His legacy is left behind in everyone whose heart he touched. His smile will never be forgotten.
Jack took the best road trip he will ever take to Heaven leaving so many with a void that can never be filled. Enjoy fishing in Heaven and dancing in the sky.
