Guy Vickery

On the early morning hours of July 14, 2023, Guy Vickery passed away at the IU Hospice House at the age of 73.
He was born to Barbara Marshall and Grover (Vic) Vickrey on December 9th, 1950. An elite carpenter by trade, he distinguished himself by earning two Purple Hearts in the Vietnam War. He was an incredibly accepting person who always stood up for the marginalized and the vulnerable. An avid reader, he loved mystery novels and was always enthralled by a good 'who-done-it.' He loved his motorcycle and always had his beloved pooch by his side, or more often on his lap.
He is preceded in death his father Vic. He is survived by his mother Barbara, his sister Brenda; his brothers Robert, Bryan, and Randy; his son James; his loving wife Debbie and their children Steve and Pat; and his grandchildren Emma and Rosalyne.
