Amanda Nicole Ashby

Amanda Nicole Ashby passed away on December 15, 2023 in Louisville Kentucky, at the age of 44. Amanda was born to Louis and Carolyn Winn on December 11, 1979 in Anderson Indiana, living most of her life in Alexandria Indiana.
Throughout her life, it was evident that Amanda loved attention. Her desire for attention pushed her to grow up too soon and altered her life's journey. She lived a hard life with many battles, but she continued to pursue stability and sobriety. In between the difficult times, Amanda enjoyed cooking, loved children, and had a smile that could light up the room. She spent the last few years of her life in sober living homes, fighting to win her battle.
Amanda was preceded in death by her father, Louis Ashby.
Amanda is survived by her two sons: Ammon (Drew) Wheeler and Nathan Ashby, two sisters: Rachelle Ashby and Carrie (Ashby) Secrest, a half-brother Jesse Ashby, and her mother Carolyn Winn.
A celebration of life will be held on January 13th at 2:00 pm at First Church of God in Marion, Indiana.
